Telangana Govt Approves IT Tower in Wanaparthy

The Telangana government has sanctioned Rs 22 crore for the development of an IT Tower in Wanaparthy. The Tower will be set up in Nagavaram Shivar of Wanaparthy.

The new Tower will add to similar towers in tier-2 locations such as Siddipet.

According to orders issued by Jayesh Ranjan, principal secretary of IT Department, the IT Tower will have a built-up space of 25,000 sqft. It will have the capacity to seat 250 employees.

The idea is to promote comprehensive development in the state and ensure employment for local youth.

Just a week back, two IT towers in Medchal and south Malakpet were announced by principal secretary, IT department.

At the time, Ranjan had said nine IT Towers in tier-2 locations will be rent-free for employees for two years, making it a lucrative option for companies to spread beyond Cyberabad.

The primary focus of the Telangana government is to decentralise IT growth leading to work-life balance of IT employees.
