Telangana govt promoting Separatism – High Court!

Hyderabad High court has made severe comments on the FAST G.O. floated by Telangana government. The High court opined that the GO seem to be an aide of the government in promoting Separatism. The high court opined that due to this GO, other state students will not opt Telangana for their studies and this FAST scheme will be a hindrance to poor students like from Odisha.

The government’s counsel struggled to defend government’s stand on this issue. However it has stated that the government has already appointed a five member committee to look in to the pros and cons of this scheme.

It is known that Telangana government is being adamant in the implementation of the FAST program which is intended to provide financial help to only those students whose families have settled in the region before 1956. Such move they think will eliminate possibility of Settlers from Seemandhra receiving help from Telangana government.
