Telangana Govt's notices to Filmnagar temple

Telangana government had decided to take over the famous Filmnagar Temple in Jubilee Hills of Hyderabad. The endowments department had served notices to the Temple Board members on the take over.

The state government is alleging that there are financial irregularities in the Temple management and the temple board is not giving the details and accounts as the temple is affiliated to Sharadha Peetam, Vishakapatnam. The state government is planning to take over the temple as it was constructed in the land given by the then United government.

The Temple board is likely to knock the door of courts against these notices. Filmnagar Temple is very close to film artists. It was constructed and managed by film industry biggies. The temple is also famous for the film shootings there.
