Telangana Jump Jilanis as Associate TRS members?

Ahead of the budget session, Telangana Speaker Madhusudhanachari is brainstorming with constitutional experts about the proposal of merging of Telangana TDP in to TRS via a letter given by the ten defected MLAs and the other MLAs who joined TRS. We are said that the Speaker is pondering an option of recognizing these MLAs as associate members of the ruling party .

This move is to avoid the technicalities that may arise in merging both the parties and to avoid by-elections for other MLAs. But constitutional experts are divided over this opinion. If this option is exercised, the defected MLAs may also be assigned places beside the ruling MLAs in Assembly.

However Telangana Speaker may also have to decide up on the disqualification petitions pending on them. Primary assumption is that the Speaker may act on the lines of what KCR wants him to do. 15 MLAs of other parties – 10 TDP, 2 YSR Congress, One Congress and two BSP MLAs have joined the ruling party.
