Telangana Lockdown: Likely To Mess The Lives of COVID Families?

Telangana cabinet will meet later today to make a decision about imposing a Lockdown. There is a strong buzz that the government may go for a Lockdown even though the Chief Minister is not keen on it until now. More than, anything else the shortage of beds is forcing the Government to take a decision.

But then, a Lockdown may also pose a new problem. Unlike the first wave, there is a huge influx of patients from other districts and other states to Hyderabad. Then, there are people running helter-skelter for beds, Remdesivir, and Oxygen. They are now fearing a Lockdown will further mess their lives.

But then, the situation is as such a Lockdown may be the only way to curb the chain and ease pressure on the medical system. Having said that all, the Government will also take the precarious economical condition into consideration before taking such a decision.

As of now, the Telangana government is the only government that did not go for a Lockdown or partial Lockdown. As things stand today, it can not be delayed further.
