Telangana Minister Supports Protest For CBN

The arrest of Chandrababu Naidu has created ripples in the Telugu states politics. At first, BRS undermined the gravity of the issue and saw it just as another political development, but they’ve understood their mistake and have started damage control.

Today, BRS minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav stepped out to take part in a protest in the Sanath Nagar area of Hyderabad.

Local TDP troops sat on a protest with the name “I am with Babu”, opposing CBN’s arrest. This is a relay hunger strike. And they were pleasantly surprised when Talasani turned up to the protest.

Talasani went to the place of protest and expressed solidarity with the group of individuals. He supported the cause. This comes right after the condemned the way in which CBN was arrested and later mishandled. Now, he has directly taken part in a protest.

The growing prominence of CBN arrest issue given by the BRS could be an indication of the change in personnel in Telugu states politics. If Telangana itself is getting influenced by the CBN effect, one can only wonder the effect it has in AP, an observer commented.
