Elections fever continue to grip Telangana

Telangana just witnessed a by-election for Warangal and the results are out the other day. However the election fever will continue in Telangana for couple of months. The Election Commission had issued notification for 12 MLC seats in local bodies quota. Except Hyderabad, all the districts will go for elections in December.

In December, Narayankhed by-election is also expected to take place. And according to the court orders, GHMC elections should be conducted by the end of January. This means the state will be seen Elections mela in the next two months.

The moral code of conduct for MLC elections already began yesterday. Elections one after the other will mean that the government can not announce any new schemes for the next two months due to the code.
