Telangana Has to Share Its Historic Property

Center had brushed Telangana’s claim of having historical rights on Andhra Bhavan in Delhi. Telangana government a few days ago submitted evidence showing that how the land belongs to the Nizam and will have to go to Telangana subsequently. But the center refused to buy the argument.

After considering all the objections, Union Home Ministry had clarified that Andhra Bhavan had to be divided in Population Ratio. Union Home Ministry Director Ashutosh Jain wrote a letter to Chief Secretaries of both the states to ensure the division of Andhra Bhavan and other assets in the Population Ratio.

Accordingly, Andhra Pradesh will be getting 58.32% of the asset share while Telangana will be getting the remaining 41.68%. Telangana is finding it difficult to digest this news from the center. Especially as Andhra Bhavan in Delhi is a very priced asset and is very famous. Telangana wants to have it at any cost.
