Telangana Specific allocations in Budget

As in the case of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana is also in for a disappointment in the allocations in the Union Budget tabled this morning. Telangana government’s main demand of alloting a national irrigation project is not addressed. Telangana CM KCR’s demand to increase FRBM limits were only referred to a committee with out an approval.

According to the devolution of funds from various central taxes, Telangana will be getting 13955.355 Crore. Even this will not be a significant number since Center cut down its share in various schemes. Here are the other Telangana Specific Allocations in Union Budget:

Tribal University – 1 Crore
Upcoming IIT – 20 Crore
Incoin – 15 Crore
