Recently, there were social media rumors that Telangana TDP has decided not to contest in the Telangana elections. These reports were extensively carried by YCP troops on social media.
But as it turns out, Telangana TDP is indeed working on contesting in the coming elections in Telangana.
T-TDP chief Kasani Gnaneshwar has scheduled a Mulakat meeting with TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu today, along with CBN’s family members.
Naidu will take the final call on the Telangana elections action plan prepared by T-TDP. He will also get a briefing on the 89 constituencies and 189 candidates picked by T-TDP for the coming election.
Kasani held meetings with T-TDP leaders at NTR Bhavan and prepared the list of 189 candidates who are willing to contest the 89 constituencies in the state. A few seats have 1 aspirant, while others have 2-3 aspirants. A related list will be presented in front of CBN today.
CBN will reportedly discuss the same with Kasani and take the final call on T-TDP’s election strategy for the coming elections in Telangana. If Naidu approves, TDP will contest 89 of the total 119 constituents in Telangana.
This will add to the current equilibrium where BRS, BJP, Congress, and YSRTP are already in the mix of things.
