TDP: 89 Constituencies; 189 Applicants

Reportedly, the Telugu Desam Party is planning to contest from 89 constituencies in the upcoming Telangana Assembly Elections. Around 189 leaders are shortlisted and the party’s high command is expected to take the final call on the 89 names very soon.

Telangana TDP President Kasani Gnaneshwar already met with the important leaders at the NTR Bhavan in Hyderabad this Sunday. He gave the 189 shortlisted names to the party’s chief Chandrababu Naidu, who is expected to finalize the candidates soon.

However, Chandra Babu wants to pick only those who have no negativity in the public and would definitely secure a victory for the party.
