Telangana’s tableau for Republic day!

The newest state of the country is all set to display its tableau on Republic day in the parade. Earlier the selection committee has invited 21 states including Andhra Pradesh for the selection committee meeting convened on October 28 and Telangana officials even did not get an invite. Later the final selections of tableau took place in November.

However Telangana Chief Minister and MPs took this issue prestigious and lobbied hard with Defense Minister Manohar Parrikar and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley. Finally they managed to get the permission. Telangana is planning to showcase its tableau on Bonalu Festival. Famous Sculptor Ramana Reddy will be preparing this tableau.

Telangana officials have already submitted the tableau model and were making some changes according to the directions of the defense ministry. Andhra Pradesh will also have its tableau in the Republic day parade and it will about the Sankranti festival.
