Telugu CMs awesome job in social sites!

The Chief Ministers of the Telugu States have put in efforts to bring governance closer to people once they assumed power. Both the Chief Ministers are making extensive use of the social networking sites to bring the information regarding various welfare schemes and the vision of their governments to the netizens. Telangana CMO is way ahead of the AP CMO page both on Facebook and Twitter but at the same time Chandra Babu Naidu on a personal front with his personal accounts is much ahead of both the state CMOs in popularity.

While the people of both the states appreciate the Chief Ministers’ willingness to stay closer to people, few are of the opinion that the interaction is going more of one side but had to me mutual with the chief ministers to hold one-hour Google-chat or Twitter-chat sessions once a week or so in order to understand the various problems of the people. Also people are pressing on the active participation of the cabinet colleagues of both the Chief Ministers.

Chandra Babu in his earlier tenure has done something on similar lines. He used to come for a one hour program – Prajalatho Mukhya Mantri on Doordarshan TV channel where he would take the calls of people on various issues and will immediately coordinated with officials for the early address of their problems.
