Temple Tour Has Nothing to Do with BJP: Pk

Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan is on a temple tour in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Speaking to media after visiting Agastya Maharshi temple in Kochi, Pawan took some time off to talk to the media.

The very first question was about the temple tour being part of BJP agenda. Pawan Kalyan smiled and said his visit had nothing to do with politics. It was a purely personal tour, he stated.

He said he had pending visits to pay his obeisance at the temples in his itinerary for the past four and half years. He set out despite having health issues, the deputy CM clarified.

To another question on Tirupati laddoo, the actor-politician said, he was deeply hurt by what had occured. He said adulteration of Tirupati laddoo hurt the sentiments of the people and he was deeply concerned about the sanctity of the process.

Pawan said measures need to be taken to ensure such incidents don’t happen ever again. The traditions of TTD have to be maintained, reiterated deputy CM. He expressed his happiness over arrests made in the matter.

He also took a question on red sanders. Pawan said that the police were snatching red sanders when they were being transported. He said they requested that Center to come up with new guidelines regarding buying of red sanders across the country.
