
Nobody knows where the administrative blocks, commercial clusters, residential areas and parks will be located in the 30,000 acres of land that is earmarked for the core capital till the master plan is drafted. And if the Master Plan and the Temporary Capital coincide then it will be a sheer waste of public resources, so the government is planning to put the idea on hold.
The Temporary Capital is expected to cost 200 Crore for its construction. The plan is to construct buildings with prefabricated superstructure with a total carpet area of 5,00,000 sq ft. The Chief Minister earlier planned to move some of the departments here by June.
