Earlier this morning, Sivakumar went to his polling station to cast his vote. However, he skipped the queue and proceeded towards the polling booth.

A common voter, Sudhakar (55), confronted Sivakumar and asked him to stand in the queue. Enraged by Sudhakar’s question, Sivakumar slapped him. Immediately, Sudhakar reacted quickly and slapped Sivakumar back.

The situation became tense as both voters and Siva Kumar’s supporters were involved in a physical assault on each other. The video also went viral on social media.

Sudhakar, who sustained injuries, was taken into custody by the police station instead of the hospital. Meanwhile, a complaint was filed to EC against Sivakumar for his atrocious act.

The EC officials took the action immediately and issued orders to house-arrest him till the conclusion of polling.
