Thanks To KTR, Sweeper To Key Job In GHMC

Telangana IT minister K Taraka Rama Rao, popular as KTR is often lauded for his thoughtful gestures. Here’s one such incident that goes on to show why the TRS scion is one of a kind.

Going into the story, KTR recently got to know that an MSC graduate named Rajni is currently working as a GHMC sweeper, in order to make ends meet for herself and her family.

Reportedly, Rajni got the opportunity to do PhD at Hyderabad Central University back in 2013, but she couldn’t pursue higher studies, given her family’s financial constraints. She also has to look after her ailing husband. With so much depending on her, Rajni had to work as a daily wage sweeper in GHMC to keep things going.

After getting know about Rajini’s story, KTR offered Rajni the job of Assistant Entomologist on outsourcing basis in GHMC. To which, Rajni readily obliged.

Rajni’s appointment order has been prepared already and she took up the new position today, 20th September.

Thanks to KTR, Rajni went from a daily wage sweeper in GHMC to landing a key job in GHMC in a rather quick time and rightly so.
