There Is No Castiest Leader Like Jagan

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is in Kuppam the other day. He asked people to vote for Bharath in the next election and promised to make him a minister.

“How long Kuppam should vote only for caste? Why my BCs here will not be given an opportunity?”, Jagan Mohan Reddy dramatically said.

He is obviously referring to Chandrababu who is a Kamma and trying to instigate the BC feeling over Bharath who is a BC himself.

But then, while Jagan tried to point one finger at Chandrababu, he forgot the other fingers pointing at him.

In the Pulivendula constituency, there is no representation of any other caste except for Reddys since 1955. Ever since 1978, we only see the YS family there as MLA.

Okay history aside, In the 2019 elections, Jagan gave nine out of all the ten general seats (MLA+MP) in his Kadapa district to the Reddy community.

In the entire Rayalaseema, thirty-three seats of the total 43 General seats have gone to the Reddy community. And then, all the nominated posts have gone to the same community after YSR Congress came to power.

“The numbers speak for themselves. It is evident Jagan is a casteist leader and has no right to talk about Chandrababu or TDP who are credited for bringing social justice into AP politics by giving maximum opportunities to the BCs for the first time, ” TDP supporters say.
