Three Years Of Viveka’s Murder, No Justice Yet

Today is the third Vardhanti of Former Minister YS Vivekananda Reddy. It was in 2019 days before the elections, Viveka was found in a pool of blood. There were attempts to showcase it as heart attack with blood vomitings.

Jagan Mohan Reddy back then made allegations on the then Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and approached the High Court demanding CBI inquiry saying that he does not have trust in the state police.

The elections were over and YSR Congress won with a bumper majority and everyone thought the perpetrators behind the murder will be brought before the law but what has happened later shocked everyone.

Jagan withdrew his petition for CBI inquiry and Viveka’s Daughter Sunitha had to fight a legal battle to get the CBI inquiry. In the investigation so far, it is clear that it is the work of YS family and YSR Congress leaders.

Kadapa MP and his father are named in the case. YSR Congress is suddenly in defense and we have seen them attacking Viveka’s family as well. In the statements to CBI, it was revealed that Jagan himself tried to save his MP.

CBI appeared like arresting Avinash Reddy any moment but nothing has happened. It is a pity that one of the influential politicians of AP could not get justice in three years in a case which almost looked like open and shut.
