Time for Mudragada to Wake Up?

Former Tirupati MLA and Senior YSR Congress Leader, Bhumana Karunakara Reddy the other day attended before APCID for the second round questioning on his involvement in Tuni Arson Case. Before going to the questioning, Bhumana warned the government saying that he will be participating in Kapu Reservations issue directly if he is arrested in this case.

This warning to TDP government, in fact, is not a warning to the Chief Minister. Bhumana sitting with Mudragada Padmanabham will only add strength to government’s allegation that YSR Congress is indirectly involved in the issue. So that is a warning for the Kapu Strongman as there is an impending danger to the movement as a whole.

Bhumana and other YSR Congress Leaders are arguing that arresting them will amount to hitting the morale of Kapu movement. They are blackmailing the government that they will participate in the movement if they arrested giving rise to doubts in the people. Mudragada at one stage said Bhumana is his friend and is always there to help him and the other time, questioned why the government is harassing those not related to them giving rise to doubts.

Moreover, Mudragada also started using pure political language using all the words which are used by Jagan. He is touching all the issues like Balakrishna case, Special Status, Cash for Vote, Chandrababu’s assets etc. All these situations are strengthening the ruling party’s allegations that Mudragada is a mere puppet in the hands of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. In fact, Mudragada himself is aiding those allegations. If the Strongman does not mend his ways, it will only defeat the actual purpose as his own community will disown him.
