Well, it does not come as a surprise that in an annual survey done on the top 10 fast food chains in the U.S., McD tops the list. And for the unversed, America’s fast food culture was kick-started by the McDonald brothers, who created the concept of ‘fast food’ in 1940. From then on, to date, the golden arches have beckoned people from around the world to their outlets. Quick, cheap, and tasty meals are what McDonald’s offers, and that’s exactly what the customers expect from them.

Of course, there are some variations in the menu to suit the local palate, but the staple McDonald’s remains the same. Incidentally, after decades McDonald’s is still the most popular fast food brand in the U.S., with $46 billion in sales last year.
