Coming to the point, BJP leader Subramanya Swamy found that there was a parody account running on his name on Facebook. Hence he tweeted informing Facebook how one of his ardent online followers have resorted to creating fake (parody) accounts on his name and also asked them to remove the parody account or otherwise face legal action.
Facebook literally astonished Swamy by removing his original fan page, not the fake parody page. Vexed Swamy tweeted, “Parody account must take down my photo inset, or doers will be prosecuted for impersonation…” Naturally the netizens are amused on the whole episode and even the person who created Swamy’s parody account was left puzzled for jeopardy of the original account. What superb comedy on social sites!
