TS Govt looking for consultant on Sky Ways!

Days after Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao revealed his plans about constructing Sky Ways (Elevated Corridors) in Hyderabad, the state government has started looking for a consultant of this mega project. The state government had released 28 Crores so far for the consultancy charges. The consultants are expected to come out with a Detailed Project Report.

Paradise to ORR on Rajiv Highway and Balanagar to ORR (Hyderabad – Narsapur-Medak route) are found to be ideal locations for the construction of Sky Ways. The consultant will look in to the project feasibility, Toll Plazas identification and plans for modernization of routes.

The state government is chalking out a plan for the next 2 years to solve this problem with an integrated road network linking the existing roads and constructing skyways with multiple layers of flyovers all over the city. KCR announced his grand plans to spend Rs.25,000 crore to Rs.30,000 crore phase-wise.
