Self-claimed celebrity astrologer Venu Swamy triggered a new controversy when he predicted that Naga Chaitanya and his fiancee Sobhita would part ways in a couple of years. The Telugu Film Journalists Association and the Telugu Film Digital Media Association have filed a complaint against him. Eventually, Venu Swamy said that he wouldn’t predict celebrities’ astrology anymore.
Meanwhile, journalist Murthy ran a show against Venu Swamy, showcasing his alleged wrongdoings.
In a dramatic turn of events, Veny Swamy and his wife Veena Sravani made shocking allegations that Murthy blackmailed them and demanded Rs. 5 Crores.
However, Murthy has now approached police officials to file a complaint against them alleging that they are trying to tarnish his image and integrity.
“I approached the Jubilee Hills Police Station today, i.e August 20, 2024, to file a complaint against Mr. Venu Swamy and his wife for their abusive conduct and remarks directed at me. I have initiated criminal action against them to bring to light the truth regarding the so-called demand for Rs 5 crores,” stated Murthy.
“This claim made by the couple is completely fabricated and aims to tarnish my honesty and integrity. They will soon stand exposed. Let the law take its own course,” he further added.
