TV9 Ravi Prakash in Police Custody

Former CEO of TV9, Ravi Prakash is taken into Police Custody this morning on the charges of trying to hinder the duties of Police. Our readers are aware that Alanda Media which has taken over TV9 ousting Ravi Prakash booked three criminal cases against him. Ravi Prakash is on bail but on a condition that he will co-operate with the Police.

Meanwhile, Alanda Media on Friday once again complained that Ravi Prakash diverted funds amounting to 18.31 Crore with the permission of the Board. A case was registered on Ravi Prakash two days ago. Senior Journalist Jaffer was also given Pink Slip from the Channel alleging that he is working for Ravi Prakash.

It has to be seen if the Court will cancel the bail of Ravi Prakash and send him behind the bars. If that happens, it will be a problem for Ravi Prakash who is busy chalking out plans to make a comeback into the media Sphere.

Speaking to a media house a couple of months ago, Ravi Prakash said, I have my own plans and I will come out with them in August. I plan to start a Television channel, a newspaper, and a web platform”.
