Nalgona MLA Komatireddy Venkatreddy and Alampur MLA Sampath are disqualified from the house. The eleven MLAs suspended included Leader of Opposition Janareddy and PCC President Uttam Kumar Reddy. The others are Geetha Reddy, Padmavathi Reddy, DK Aruna, T Ram Mohan Reddy, Madhav Reddy, Vamsi Chand, Chinna Reddy, Keevan Reddy, and Bhatti Vikramarka.

KCR Government always maintained that it will not allow any kind of protests in the house. We have seen the government suspending Revanth Reddy on multiple occasions. Congress with its unruly behavior gave a chance to the ruling party to hit it very hard.

It will also mean that the Main Opposition Party will not have its voice in the all-important budget session which will see the tabling of the last budget before 2019 elections. Congress also lost two of its MLAs and may have to face by-elections in those two constituencies.
