Undavalli Sridevi to Contest From Thiruvuru?

Undavalli Sridevi is the TDP candidate for the Tiruvuru constituency. The Joint Action Committee (JAC) comprising members from both the TDP and Jena Sena is considering her as a potential candidate for the Tiruvuru constituency. Sridevi, belonging to the SC community, while her husband is from the Kapu social class, which brings about political complexities.

In the Tiruvur Constituency, there is a concern about 22,000 missing votes from the Kapu Vote Bank. According to reliable sources, there is potential for Sridevi to secure a seat, given her strong educational background.

She is also attempting to contest from Tadikonda, but faces competition from the incumbent TDP candidate, Sravan, who has been actively working for the interests of farmers, especially since YS Jagan announced the three capitals plan in the Assembly.

The JAC, formed by prominent leaders from both parties, convened its first meeting in Rajahmundry. There were earlier rumors that Sridevi might contest as an MP from the Bapatla Parliament segment. The JAC is contemplating the effectiveness of the Kapu and SC formula in the Tiruvuru constituency.
