US: Indian’s Tesla Keyed Twice, Culprit Arrested

Tesla cars are particularly popular amongst the Indian community in the USA. Almost every Indian household in the USA own a Tesla car. Here’s a shocking incident involving a Tesla car owned by an Indian man.

The man, who identifies as Rahul has reported that his Tesla Model Y car has been keyed by a man. The video was recorded by the camera that is located on the side of the car.

“I was shocked and in disbelief. I know the culprit too. I can’t think of one valid reason why he would have done this to me,” Rahul said.

The car was parked in a parking lot at a shopping Center in Pineville, North Carolina. The culprit, Harish Garg keyed the car not once but twice. The whole incident was recorded in the camera located on the side of the car.

The owner of the car, Rahul, says the damage inflicted by the culprit will costs thousands of dollars as the orange shade car might have to go for paint job again.

Hanish was once a neighbour of Rahul and he has been charged with property damage. He is currently in police custody. The incident happened back in February and it has come to light now.
