Trump Predicts Very Painful Two Weeks for America

US President Donald Trump dropped a bomb on the people there saying that the next two weeks in the U.S. will be “very painful” and that he wants “every American to be prepared for the days that lie ahead”. The Medical Advisers of the President projected data that the virus could kill 100,000–240,000 Americans.

This is even with strict social distancing guidelines in place. The model also showed a worst-case scenario of between 1.5m and 2.2m deaths in the US “without mitigation”. With measures in place, the mountain could be reduced to a hill with 1,00,000 to 240,000 deaths.

The US death toll from the coronavirus climbed past 3,800 on Tuesday, eclipsing China’s official count. This warning assumes significance because Trump until a fortnight was very casual about the virus. New York had the major chunk of the cases followed by New Jersey. The other 48 states together have cases less than both the states.

Meanwhile, the United States is yet to implement a complete Lockdown like India. Even the flights were not stopped.
