The train is set to depart from Kacheguda at 5:30 a.m. and arrive at Yeshwantpur around 2 p.m. During a recent trial run, the Kacheguda-Yesvantpur Vande Bharat Express reached a maximum speed of 110 kmph, impressively surpassing expectations.
During its test run, the train left Kacheguda at 5:30 a.m. and reached Yesvantpur railway station at 13:15 p.m., about 20-30 minutes ahead of schedule. It consistently maintained speeds exceeding 100 kmph between Dharmavaram and Yesvantpur, contributing to its early arrival.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to formally launch the service on September 24. However, it is worth noting that the tentative stoppage list reveals that the train will not make any stops in Karnataka, apart from its Yesvantpur terminus.
The train will feature seven chair car coaches and one executive car coach and is expected to operate six days a week, excluding Wednesdays. Ticket fares are yet to be officially announced, and upon its launch, it will become Karnataka’s third Vande Bharat train.
