Velagapudi Under Security Cover for First Assembly Session

The Budget session of Andhra Pradesh will begin from March 6th in the Assembly building of Velagapudi Secretariat Complex. This is the first ever Assembly session in AP after the bifurcation. Since the Chief Minister, Opposition Leader and other MLAs will be here, elaborate Security arrangements are being made.

All the routes leading to the Assembly will have foolproof security arrangements. 15 Check Posts are installed on those routes for the 18 days of the session. 30 DSPs, 70 Inspectors, 100 SIs, 100s of Constables are going to be deployed in the area.

A temporary Dharna Chowk was arranged near the Assembly for any protests which will be conducted with permissions. No protests will be allowed in the Assembly premises when the session is on. Police Barricades and Fencing was arranged to prevent protestors barging in.
