Vemireddy Conditions To Jagan On MP Ticket

Political upheaval seems to persist in Nellore YSRCP, even after the MLC elections in the MLA quota. The situation in Nellore YSRCP has worsened, leading to the expulsion of two MLAs, and the internal factionalism continues to escalate in Nellore City.

Despite YS Jagan’s efforts to reconcile Anil Kumar Yadav and his uncle Roop Kumar Yadav, their internal conflicts have not subsided. Recently, YSRCP Rajya Sabha member Vemreddy Prabhakar Reddy met with YS Jagan, accompanied by Nellore Lok Sabha member Adala Prabhakar Reddy, to discuss and review district politics.

During the meeting, Jagan suggested that Vemireddy should contest for the Nellore Parliament seat, as YSRCP had already appointed MP Adala as the in-charge of Nellore Rural. However, as per sources, Vemireddy expressed his unwillingness to contest for the Nellore MP position.

Vemireddy reportedly conveyed to Jagan that Anil Kumar Yadav has significant dissent among party cadre and even Nellore city voters. He opined that moving Anil to Lok Sabha could have a negative impact, potentially affecting YSRCP’s chances of winning in the area. Adala Prabhakar Reddy also shared a similar opinion with Jagan.

As of now, YSRCP’s Nellore MP candidate has not been finalized, and the situation remains uncertain. The ongoing internal conflicts and disagreements within the party in Nellore have led to a complex political scenario, making candidate selection and elections challenging.
