Venu Madhav Out of Telangana Elections

The Time for Nominations Withdrawal in Telangana is now complete. Major parties have managed to convince their Rebel Candidates to withdraw out of the fray. Film Actor Venu Madhav who filed Nomination as Independent from Kodad Assembly Segment also withdrew from the fray after TDP Supremo Chandrababu Naidu insisting on it.

Venu Madhav is a native of Kodad. He studied there and also started as a Mimicry Artist there. Later on, he got associated with TDP and used to campaign for the party whenever needed. He wanted to contest on TDP Ticket but the seat went to Congress as a part of the Mahakutami Alliance. So, a disappointed Venu Madhav filed his nomination as Independent.

TDP also lost a strong candidate in Bollam Mallaiah Yadav after losing out Kodad seat. TRS admitted Bollam Mallaiah Yadav immediately into the party and gave him the ticket. TRS intentionally kept the seat on hold till the last minute. PCC President Uttam Kumar Reddy’s Wife, Padmavathi is contesting from Kodad.
