Vijay Is New CM: Ground Reality Or Paid Hype?

Tamil Nadu always constitutes for some of the most interesting electoral campaigns in the country, and the same appears to be the case this year as well. Apart from the usual political suspect, we have Thalapathy Vijay, who is fancying his chances this time.

There is this one interesting observation about the exit polls that have been coming out regarding the Tamil Nadu assembly election and it has a lot to do with Vijay.

A major company, namely Axis My India, and a couple of other agencies , including a fresh report today have projected a TVK wave in Tamil Nadu.

In particular, the survey report that came out earlier this morning regarding the Tamil Nadu assembly election is projecting Vijay to become the chief minister of the state. Report says that Vijay will form the government in Tamil Nadu by winning 120+ seats on behalf of TVK.

Under radial circumstances, a double digit seat outcome must itself be a pretty solid result for Vijay, considering that this is his first ever election campaign. But on top of that, these Media reports are saying that he is going to become the chief minister of the state.

A film star becoming a chief minister right in his very first election happened only with Senior NTR earlier and this was many years ago, where the political scenario was different. Things have changed drastically now, and it might be virtually impossible for anyone to become the CM in his very first campaign.

So these multiple Media reports claiming Vijay to be the CM are facing complaints on social media as netizens comment that this might be paid campaigns to sustain TVK’s existence and secure party funds. But at the same time, Vijay’s fans are extremely optimistic and excited about the result after watching all the stuff.
