
Generally, South Indian politics are extremely direct as the ruling and opposing factions can’t face the sight of each other. This is particularly relevant in the case of Andhra Pradesh, but not so much in the case of neighbouring states.
In what could be considered a positive impact, Tamil Nadu chief minister Vijay has gone to the residence of former CM and DMK president Stalin for courtesy.
Vijay arrived at the residence of Stalin a few minutes back, and had a brief conversation with him on the latest political affairs, and also the government administrative duties.
There might have been adequate exchange of knowledge from the former chief minister to the current chief minister, who is holding the office for the first time. This is a positive outcome and needs to be appreciated by all.
This is a welcome change in Tamil Nadu politics, and perhaps a lesson for other South Indian states as well. It is good to see the CM paying as much respect to the former CM even after the latter had lost even as an MLA.
Such inclusive politics are always good for the society and also the overall development of the state at the fundamental level.
