The politics of Tamil Nadu have become interesting. The ruling DMK is trying its best to stop the votes that could go into Vijay’s kitty owing to his Thalapathy charisma.
Vijay was to hold his election campaign in Perumbur on Saturday. However, the state government asked Vijay to change location at the nth hour. Vijay’s team was told the spot chosen was too constricted for 3000 people. Going by numbers, it is not big enough crowd for a star-turned-politician.
So far, Vijay hasn’t announced his alignment with NDA. However, if he gets enough seats, he could become the gamechanger following assembly elections.
And CM Stalin doesn’t want that to happen. On the other hand, Vijay himself does not seem to have the potential to come to power on his own.
BJP seems to have left the door open for Vijay as its poll partner AIADMK too is not a big player in the game. After Jayalalitha, the party lost its identity within the state.
It is a thrilling fight in Tamil Nadu as who’s on who’s side might come out after counting.
