Vijayawada Central: Malladi Vishnu In Deep Trouble

YSR Congress Senior leader Malladi Vishnu seems to be on slippery ground in Vijayawada Central Constituency. In multiple surveys conducted by I-PAC in the constituency, all the results have come against Vishnu.

Besides losing the support of the people, Vishnu is also facing heat from the local leaders. At least fourteen of the sixteen corporators are against Vishnu.

Buzz is that I-PAC has suggested Jagan to change the candidate here for 2024. Gautham Reddy, Ruhulla, and Avuthu Shailaja Reddy are the contenders in waiting.

Vishnu won in this constituency with a paltry 25 votes majority in 2018 elections over TDP Senior Leader Bonda Uma.

Vishnu is accused of getting bar licenses and contract works of Buddameru in the constituency for his family members leaving the local leaders and cadre high and dry. His family is also accused of encroaching parks in the constituency.

All these have pushed Vishnu into trouble in the constituency. Interestingly, all these accusations are not made by the Opposition, YSR Congress low-level leaders have given this feedback to I-PAC team.
