Vijay is aiming to contest in the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections. Till then, he is expected to expand his cadre by actively participating in political events.

On the film front, Vijay was recently seen in the movie The Greatest of All Time (GOAT). Directed by Venkat Prabhu, this movie was released on September 5.
