Viral Video: Twin Towers Demolished In 9 Seconds

On Sunday, Supertech’s 100-meter-high twin towers in Noida – taller than Delhi’s iconic Qutub Minar (73 meters) – were brought to the ground in nine seconds after the demolition marking the end of a nine-year-long battle.

More than 500 police personnel were deployed in Noida around the twin towers ahead of the demolition.

The towers — Apex (32 floors) and Ceyane (29 floors) — were part of the Emerald Court project of Supertech Ltd, which were found to violate multiple regulations regarding construction. They were demolished through controlled implosion to ensure minimal damage to the surrounding areas.

Many people who watched it live on social media and other platforms said it reminded them of the 9/11 World Trade Center attacks.

One of them commented that When Osama Bin Laden did this, they called it terrorism. When the Indian administration is doing this, it’s called a war against corruption.
