VJA Junta awaits first ever state celebration!

The Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium in Vijayawada is all set to host the first Republic day celebrations in Andhra Pradesh after the state bifurcation. Arrangements are going on at brisk pace for the first of its kind function in Coastal Andhra side over the last few decades. On the other side, people around Vijayawada are excited to participate in the event which is first of its kind for the region.

Also as the officials hurry to identify the venue and prepare makeshift arrangements for the event, the pain of parting with Hyderabad and aspirations for capital with World class infrastructure drive mixed emotions in people here.

Governor will be flying to Vijayawada on January 25th evening. He will be participating in the Republic day celebrations in Vijayawada on 26th morning at 8 AM and will fly back to Hyderabad Parade Grounds by 10 AM and participate in the event there. Our readers are already aware that it is a custom for the Governor to hoist the National flag on Republic day and address the people.
