Volvo opens India’s biggest car showroom in AP

Luxury Car companies line up to Amaravati, the upcoming capital of Andhra Pradesh. The latest addition to the list is Luxury cars major, Volvo. Amaravati has seen tremendous increase in buying power over the year especially after the real boom that followed the capital announcement.

The new Volvo car manufacturing showroom has been inaugurated in Vijayawada on Monday and is the biggest one across the state which is spread across a large area of about 26,000 sq.ft. The showroom will be handling various activities in the place such as sales and after-sales to Volvo cars.

Interestingly the showroom was opened on the day when 15 government departments were shifted from Hyderabad to Vijayawada as part of administration shift from Hyderabad. Currently, Volvo is selling 100 cars per annum and we expect to double the number in the coming two years
