We know who are behind the MSOs – Javadekar

With wide publicity of KCR’s hate speech on media in all the National Channels, Central government is now very serious on the issue of channels ban in Telangana. Union I&B Minister, Prakash Javadekar is in Hyderabad this morning and assured that the channels will be resumed in 2 days. “TDSAT has given verdict in the favour of TV9 and ABN few days ago. MSOs have resumed the channels for one hour and immediately after that SOMETHING happened and the channels are blocked again. We are very serious about the issue and you will see what we do in 2 days”, said Javadekar in media.

The minister also said that he is not convinced by KCR’s version on the issue. He also said that since it is election time (Medak bypoll), he should not elaborate on it more and asserted the media that he will do all that needs to be done to protect the freedom of press. At the same, Javadekar also requested media to be responsible in their news telecast.
