What’s In Jagan’s Sealed Covers To MLAs?

Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy took part in the cabinet meeting on 20 September, in the build-up for the assembly sessions which started today, 21 September.

Reportedly, Jagan spoke at length about his party’s condition in view of the coming general election.

As per reports, Jagan had been handing out sealed covers, containing reports of the workrate of his party MLAs and MPs. He apparently commissioned 6 surveys in as many aspects computed the results and handed them over to his MLAs in sealed covers. Jagan is said to be disappointed with the work put up by a fair few of his MLAs.

Jagan has reportedly decided to wave goodbye to 30 of his sitting MLAs and will be roping in new candidates in these places.

The fact that Jagan himself has decided to sack the tickets of 30 of his sitting MLAs could be an indication of the overall negativity bagged by YCP as a party. This could’ve put him in a tight spot and now, altering the candidates could be a last gasp move to better the situation, commented a political analyst.
