What Is Naidu Indicating by Campaigning Against Modi?

The Voters’ Verdict in Andhra Pradesh is stored in the EVMs and they will be opened only on May 23rd. All the Political Parties are having their own calculations about why they will win the election. Since the results are more than a month away, Policians have got the much-needed break even though they are tensed about their prospects.

While Jagan and Pawan Kalyan are planning to go on a holiday, Chandrababu Naidu seems to be hellbent on damaging the prospects of BJP and is campaigning against the party. He already went to Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. He will share stage with Rahul Gandhi this Evening for a Public Meeting in Raichur.

Even though TDP fans are tensed about the result, they are deriving confidence from the fact that Naidu would not risk displeasing Modi if at all he would not come to Power. They are sensing that he is confident of coming to Power so is trying to defeat NDA Government so he will have a friendly government at the Center.

In worst case, he would want a coalition government in Delhi which will be sympathetic to Andhra Pradesh. Having finished the elections in the first phase gave ample time for Naidu to campaign in the other states. In fact having Andhra Pradesh elections in the first phase is planned so as to not give Chandrababu enough time to prepare.
