What is in Privileges Committee Report?

The Privileges Committee of Andhra Pradesh Assembly submitted its report on the complaints on five YSR Congress MLAs. The MLAs faces indiscipline allegations are Roja, Kodali Nani, Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy, Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy and Jyothula Nehru. Roja who is not doing well skipped the meeting, while others have attended.

It is said that Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy, Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy and Jyothula Nehru apologized to the committee even though they had their share of explanations for their behaviour. We have information that they are let off with a warning of not repeating it in future. Roja already announced that she is not going to apologize to any one.

Kodali Nani also did not feel apologetic for his behaviour. The all party committee previously appointed also recommended action against him, so the privileges committee recommended action on both Roja and Nani. However they have left it to the house to decide on the quantum of the punishment. The report is likely to be announced in the house tomorrow.
