CPI National Secretary K Narayana said that Telangana Chief Minister KCR meeting Bihar CM Nitish Kumar is a good development.

He suggested that AP CM Jagan should also be included in the anti-BJP alliance.

Narayana spoke to the media along with party state secretary Chada Venkat Reddy at MB Bhavan in Hyderabad. He commented that BJP is pleasing the film actors in Telangana to defeat TRS.

Narayana also made critical comments on Junior NTR meeting Amit Shah.

“NTR’s family has a rich political history. Why did he need to meet Amit Shah? (అమిత్‌షా దగ్గరికి వెళ్లాల్సిన ఖర్మ ఏంటి? ) Why should he go to a criminal like Amit Shah?,” Narayana questioned.

Even though some BJP leaders tried to portray the meeting in their favor, NTR’s team always maintained that the meeting is apolitical and is only an appreciation of Amit Shah for NTR’s performance in RRR.

Meanwhile, CPI has announced support to TRS in the upcoming Manugode election to defeat communal parties like BJP. “We do not allow communal and divisive politics in Telangana. We will work with TRS to defeat BJP,” the CPI senior leaders announced.

Manugode by-election has become necessary after the resignation of Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy who defected from Congress to the BJP. This by-election is seen as a semi-final ahead of the state assembly elections next year.
