What is the Special Status Movement Upto?

The Special Status issue had gained heat in Andhra Pradesh all of sudden. All the parties except for BJP have hit the roads and are trying to pressurize the Union Government. Thanks to Janasena, even communist parties were also charged this time.

YSR Congress MPs have resigned and sat for a Fast-unto-death. TDP is exerting pressure in its own way while Janasena had announced a series of meetings in various parts of Andhra Pradesh. But the real question is if any of these parties or all can exert pressure on the Union Government.

It is more or less confirmed that Special status is a gone case as none of these protests will have any impact on the Central Government. There are no political obligations or stakes for the saffron party in Andhra Pradesh at least to consider.

In such case, one would get the doubt, What is the Special Status Movement Upto? The answer will be very simple. All the parties are trying their level best to convince the people they are the best in fighting for the rights of the state. Every party is aware that Special Status is a Gone Case.
