When Jagan terrified Sony Pictures

Wikileaks, the watchdog of government and corporate misconduct once again created a sensation leaking several documents related to Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE). As many as 30,287 documents from Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) and 173,132 emails, to and from more than 2,200 SPE email addresses were leaked and put in open by Wikileaks.

One of the leaked document has reference to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s disproportionate assets case. Almost an year ago, Sony offered to take over MAA TV in which Nimmagadda Prasad is the major stakeholder. The entertainment giant offered 1230 Crore for MAA TV. However later the deal was dropped.

The leaked documents suggest that Sony dropped from the deal finding Nimmagadda involvement in CBI and ED cases. Nimmagadda even spent some time in jail along with Jagan back then. Later on Star Group recently took over MAA TV.
