When KA Paul Too Scares Jagan

Political parties may have initially taken KA Paul’s Praja Shanti Party as a silly political outfit. However, as the election date is drawing close the opposition YSRCP is turning jittery about this lesser known outfit. The reason, Paul’s party’s election symbol Helicopter is uncanny to YCP’s fan. This could lead to confusion among voters, who are less educated. YSRCP has complained regarding the same to EC and sought to award another symbol to Paul, but its not likely to happen. This is not all, Paul party’s flag colors are same as that YSRCP flag colors.

Additionally, more than 20 MLA and MP contestants together bear similar names as that of YSRCP candidates. Whether or not this is coincidence, this could cause a dent in YCP’s tally or vote share.

YSRCP has a strong hold in rural areas and such confusions are also likely in rural areas. This is such an embarrassing situation staring in the face of the party and we can’t wait to see what it does.
