Which Rama will get the official presents?

The seven Mandals of Khammam were added to Andhra Pradesh barring Bhadrachalam town which has the famous Sri Rama Temple. It is customary in the United State for the Chief Minister to present silk clothes to the Lord on the auspicious Sri Rama Navami.

After losing Bhadrachala Rama, Rayalaseema and North coastal Andhra are preparing to fight it out to claim ownership of the new official abode of the deity in the residuary state. Vontimitta Kodandarama temple in Kadapa district of Rayalaseema and the Ramateertham temple in Vizianagaram district of coastal Andhra are both trying to get the official stamp from the state government.

Vizianagaram temple is believed to be visited by Lord Rama and holds high spirtual value. On the other side, officials of Vontimitta Kodandarama temple in Kadapa claim that Sita visited the area and that the temple came up about 600 years ago. Leaders of both the areas are lobbying with the Chief Minister to present silk clothes to their temple.
